About the Blog

Let me preface this by saying I have never done a blog.  This is brand-new territory for me as a writer.  My husband encouraged me to try this as way to support my writing.  The skeptic in my says this is a strange way to put the words in my head into some written format.  After all, I grew up with electric typewriters and early computers.  Yeesh.

The real purpose of this blog is to keep me writing.  I hope that by writing everyday on something, anything, it will keep me focused on my novel and keep the creative juices flowing.  ”Write what you know” comes to mind (an Anne of Green Gables reference).  What I know are books, writing and everyday life.  So let’s sow the seeds and see what grows.
